"Broadway Baby"

"Broadway Baby"
5"x7" Collage
(Click on her tatoo to see all of the details!)

Fiona always wanted to dance on Broadway, so when the occasion arose to audition for "Fearless Freddy's Fantastic Fish Follies" she couldn't resist. Fiona was thrilled when they offered the job, hoofed her way to stardom in the chorus line and never looked back - although she does admit that she misses her Mom now and then!

"Broadway Baby" was originally created for this week's Crowabout challenge. However, because this week's challenge at The Three Muses is to put "wings on something", I think that Fiona's tatoo qualifies this piece for that challenge too!

Wishing you a day filled with dance and delight!

Credits: Approximately eight of this week's Crowabout images were used, along with bits and pieces from past challenges. The curtain came from a Flickr sharing group, and the hat and Mr. Moon are from Flickr's ArtsyFartsyQueen.

Oh I love your story and collage - fantastic piece and a great tatoo! Such a treat for the eyes!

Oh yes, the butterfly tattoo qualifies. Terri, your collage is superb and full of good humour. I love your stories because they send me off into musing about the fate of the subjects. For example, if one works with fish, does that mean there is no point in spending money on expensive perfumes? This fantastic piece of artwork is delicious.

Well you know I'm gonna go crazy over this one! Fish Follies! Why haven't I thought of that? I may adopt a new dream and hope to dance with Fiona one day. This is so perfect, Terri, down to the tattoo! You never fail at giving us something very, very good to enjoy and you did help fill my day with delight. I wonder how one would dance in the fish follies. I'll have to practice that.

I love Fiona! Her butterfly tattoo is very clever but I love the M & M above the butterfly. I think my most favorite part is the women's legs beneath the curtain. Just enough to
provoke further attention to the background. Very well done.

Yes, collage genius is the perfect way to describe your magnificent artwork. The only complaint I have is that I now can't get the song out of my head (Lullaby of Broadway).
