Teesha's Tutorials

Journal Page

IF you love art journals, new techniques, vibrant color and anything "zetti", you MUST hop right on over to Teesha Moore's blog, Teesha's Circus, immediately (if you haven't already!) to watch her new series of videos. (They've also been posted on "You Tube".)

I've long admired Teesha's work, so finding these awesome tutorials was a treat for my eyes and food for my creative soul. I poured myself a cup of coffee, and watched enthralled as she went to work creating journal pages in her distinctive style. Shot by her husband, Tracy, this concise series is filled with lots of tips and techniques. Even if you've been journaling for awhile, you're bound to learn a few new things.

Immediately following Teesha's "master class", I headed to the studio to try some of my new found skills. As I worked, I could almost hear Teesha over my shoulder saying, "Don't think about it too much. Just go with it!"

Generally, my collage work tends to lend itself to a lot of "fussing" and detail. So, while this "in-progress" page may not be as spontaneous as I'd like, it was a lot of fun to create. And, who knows . . . I just may get the hang of this Zetti-thing after all!

Hope you do something spontaneous today!

Terri, I am a bit down.
Today is Wednesday, Nov. 4th, I feel so horrible.. even though I ought to be happy, I have been chosen as a 'featured artist"..
I went there now, Ifeel unappreciated and as if I don't fit in.., there are only 2 comments on my art, everyone else has generous comments.
Looks so strange to me, I realize today is (day 3) but , I am confused..I will leave the link here for you to fly over if you wish.. let me know what you think. :-(

Thanks Terri I respect your opinion..let me know what you think.
I try so hard.. I wonder if those are a different crew of artist as I feel I don't belong???
Hugs, Darlene xo

Always Love what you create and how you create it Terri!
The Teesha videos are amazing! As a matter of fact, I'm in Blacksburg looking after our son who is down with the flu.* In between nursing duties I slipped away to MishMish (fun art store on Main St) and picked up a stack of PanPastels TMoore recommended (they didn't sell individually and I needed a treat anyway :))
*my spontaneous thing to do was jump in the car and drive 4 hrs to see my youngest sweetie :) I'll be back home soon and ready to create again!
