Simple Pages & Pleasures

Once again, I'm under the spell of Teesha Moore! Her black and white journal "drawings" touched my heart and inspired me to give it a try on our recent vacation.

Each of these pages didn't take a lot of time, and I forgot how much fun it was to just "draw" and journal without a goal or predetermined outcome.

Each page was drawn on a small white cardstock page (4" x 5 1/2") with a black Sharpie. Simple drawings of life's simple pleasures and surprises.

Speaking of surprises, the mailman brought another One World One Heart gift that came from Germany and my generous blogging friend, Martina (http://martinas-stempel-gewerkel.blogspot.com/). How lucky was I to win her fabulous prize! Just look at all of the luscious details in Martina's beautiful artwork. I'm over the moon with happiness. Thank you, Martina!

An Awesome Card, and . . .

An Entire Sheet of Fabulous ATC's!
Mein herzlicher dank, Martina!

Hope you take time to enjoy a simple pleasure today!

Love your black and white pages, they are really really special Terri!

There IS something so endearing about pansies, I always have a tough time deciding which to bring home, they all seem to wink and nod at me!

Oh Terri!!!! These drawings are making me drool and those pancakes are making me hungry! You can seriously draw! I loved looking at them and all the pretty details. Pansies always remind me of Spring!! A perfect way to do some art away from home. Such a lovely gift from Martina, no wonder you were excited to receive it!!

You draw really well, and your happiness shows in these pieces. They each told a story without being too personal, something I really like.

You are one lucky gal. I love your OWOH win. It's awesome.

I hope you enjoy your beautiful treasures as much as I am enjoying mine..from you! The exquisite cards and paper you sent me in my OWOH win are in sharp contrast to your new black and white, but I love both looks. I'm using your paper on my angels and will post them as soon as I'm finished. What a great time we all had at the OWOH event.

Cheers
Cheryl

Terri!! Wow, again you amaze me!! Your pages are GORGEOUS, I really love them!! And I'm green with envy over the OWOH gifts you got!! Thanks for sharing this wonderful artist.

A while ago I decided to keep a 3x5 journal in my bag that I take to work, and do black and whites on my lunch. I did two and gave up, but you have rekindled that fire for me!
