Hats, Crowns, Wings & A Fabric Journal

Tracey's Page
For Teesha Journal
(Click on a butterfly to see the details!)

It always give me great pleasure to participate in the Three Muses challenge, and one of the latest pages in my Teesha Journal round robin fulfills this week's theme of "Hats & Crowns & Wings & Things" very nicely. How serendipitous!

Fabric Journal

fabric journal 1 of 4 from teesha moore on Vimeo.

If you've always wanted to make a unique fabric journal, Teesha Moore has just posted a series of four videos on Vimeo. I'm not a seamstress by any means, but this does look like a fun, take-along project. This is the first video, and you can click here to see all of them.

Hope you have a serendipitous day!

Credits:  Special thank you to Suzee Que - Flickr for the image of the woman. (We will miss your generosity and kindness, Susan.) Thanks to TumbleFish Studio - Etsy for the crown, to Karen - The Graphics Fairy for the pretty teacup, to Ceremony - Etsy for the heart, to Dover Publications for the butterflies and cat, and to Crowabout for a few border pieces.

This page really compliments the theme of wings and things. I got a kick out of the quote. You should be joining us on Tea Tuesday. That post would have fit in perfectly.

Now I must check out the fabric book video. Have a lovely Wednesday.

Brilliant page Terri and in true Teesha style!
I love hanging out at the site for which this page was created, I learn so much from you expert collage artists, not least because you are always all so good with your credits. I have a pile of collage stuff and no idea anymore where they all came from. This piece is fantastic!

Dear Terri, wow, you made so many great pieces of art like the fabric- journal and T-4-2,
that is so great.
I am sorry, I didn´t stop by very often the last time, but I am so busy with work and with the dragon- home- project.
I will post about that soon.
The freeby of the gowned lady is a portrait by the famous austrian painter
Franz Xaver Winterhalter showing Elisabeth (Sisi), Empress of austria and queen of hungary.
This is one of her most famous portrais, She is wearing her diamont stars in her hair.
It can be seen in Schloss Schönbrunn, where she used to life
( what should I say , I am a Sisi- fan)
Have a great day, and thank you for sharing the video.

Terri, What a delight to receive your kind words! And then to pop over to say thank you only to start paging through your wonderful blog! I'd still be turning pages to earlier posts but household duties {namely dinner on the table} is calling me away. But I'll be back! Love all your free graphics and the journal pages you've made. Thank you for being a big burst of sunshine into my day! xo Sue
