"East Dessert First!"

 Paula's Page
(Click on the cake to see the details!)

It's been quite a while since I've posted a new page for my current Teesha Journal round robin swap. The art-filled journals have been flying from the East Coast to the West Coast, and have traveled as far as Alaska. I've one more page to show you before my journal comes home filled to the brim with fabulous artwork from the other participating artists. I can't wait!!!

Hope you have an art-filled day!

Credits: Thanks to Freubel for the image of the cake lady (slightly altered) and to Nancy Baumiller's Crowabout Group for the words, "Dreams Come True" and "Beauty", and the black & white striped border bits. Butterflies and bird are from Dover Publications. Crown, Zetti moon, stars and remaining borders from Pringle Hill Studio. Rose was found in the public domain, and the clock was snipped from a magazine ad.

Is it Sunday night? I'm always so used to Sunday night posts from you. Now I'll be off all week (grin).

I so love the shoes and socks on that cake lady. For some reason, it looked more like a jello mold to me, although I was a bit confused by the candles.

This has actually been a really quick swap. I know many swaps that go a year to 18 months. Can't wait to see what you get back. Have a lovely evening.

I love her cake dress! I don't always eat dessert first but I am sure to check the dessert list first so that I know how to order!

I'll bet you are really excited to receive your journal after it has been around the world and visited so many talented artists.

Great collage!

This is such a great journal page! I love the whole idea of a traveling journal! It will be a book chock full of inspiration. If you ever need another artist to contribute a page I would love to get involved in something like that!
