Envie Journal - 2nd Page

Overview - Front
(With Inserts & Without!)

Front
and . . .
Back

A few weeks ago I posted the first page of a new journal project that uses business sized envelopes as a foundation for chunky journal pages with little pockets. (You can see my first completed page if you click here.) Two pages completed and four more to go!

Inserts

Here's better look at some of the details.

Remember the Shrinky Dink charms that I made a few weeks ago? This charming pooch (pardon the pun) added the perfect, little chunky touch to this insert.

And although the charm looks a bit 'blurry' in the pics, it's perfectly clear and wonderful in real life.

May your day be wonderful!

Credits: Thanks to Vintage Catnip for the cat and to Dover Publications bird and the orange butterflies. Thanks also to Tumble Fish Studio for the crown, green wings (on the cat), the ticket, stars and ten cent sign, and the words "happy" & "play". Thanks also to Elizabeth at Last Door Down the Hall for the ruler. Roses, Mr. Moon, & Peace insert by Pringle Hill Studio.

Bleubeard is having a fit. Not sure if it's the cat or the bird, but he's really loving these pages. Of course, you know how much I love what I call a fiesta of color. You are such an inspiration!

Hi Terri, Always a delight to see what you've creatively been up to. Your eye for composition & detail are always so fun...LOVE that kitty & her expression. I think she has her eyes closed to fool the little birdie into coming closer???

Terri- all of it is just mmmmm...huggable! Just can't imagine what it would be like to see it in real life! And there's some magic going on because I have been trying to find shrinky inkjet plastic pages as part of a project I am working on - and here I see you are making them!!! Michael's was supposed to have them,,,but not the Michaels here. If you have a suggestion as to a brand or store, please, you know where to find me! It looks like you know what you're doing. That little puppy is adorable. Was it hard to figure out how much they would shrink and how much the color would pop???
