A Freebie & A Video!

 A Digital Creation
Using Today's "Freebie"

Your PNG File
and

A Jpeg File

Once again, this lovely woman was found in the archives of the Library of Congress. I fell in love with that fabulous coat. She's so smart looking and chic, I couldn't resist placing her in a romantic setting. I know you'll find wonderful ways to use this image. Enjoy!

A Video

Earlier this week I had an art date with my dear friend Roc from WhatsUpRoc. We laughed and played, and tried some new techniques. Then we laughed some more and giggled like two naughty schoolgirls. (We called each other Lucy and Ethel!)  In other words, we thoroughly enjoyed our time together.

The following video of a background technique is a result of our "play time". Be forewarned (and kind!). This is our very first venture into cinematography. Roc demonstrated the technique (quite brilliantly, in my opinion) on a first take, and I held the camera - at times a bit unsteadily. It's real and 'raw' - just watch for Roc's blue fingers! The decision to record a video was spontaneous.  We didn't have a tripod, a dedicated video camera or fancy equipment. It was shot using my little point and shoot Sony Cyber-shot digital camera.

Hope you enjoyed our first video. We had such a good time, we just might follow it up with another!

May your day be filled with spontaneity and friends!

Oh how FUN, Terri! All of it...your wonderful digital creation, the free lady and the video. When you described yourselves as Ethel and Lucy I thought for sure we might hear some hollerin' and fussin' going on in that video...I bet you edited it out, right? What a great job on the video. I esp. appreciate how detailed {right down to the product descriptions} you made the tutorial. Hope you'll do more of these! Xo, Sue
