"Melting"

A Bookmark
2" x 6"

I'm sure that a few of you are thinking: "Halloween! Already?!" It is a bit early to begin the festivities, but not a moment too soon to start the latest challenge posted by my art group. For this swap, we must make three different articles featuring a Halloween theme and can choose from an ATC, postcard, bookmark, inchies, an arch-shaped piece or a tag.

I must admit, I DO love this theme and our choices. Stay tuned for more Halloween goodies!

May your day be filled with fabulous choices!'

Credits:  Thanks to Lisa's Altered Art for the little bat fairy, and to Moonlight Journey for the hat, the number and the black cat. Thanks also to Our Dear Suzee Que-Flickr for the fun sign. Pumpkin from Itkupilli, and borders from Tumble Fish Studio. Background was hand made by Pringle Hill Studio.

When I saw the title or your post, I immediately thou8ght of the Wicked Witch in the Wizard of Oz. But your sweet little girl is too pretty to be that kind of witch. This is a super bookmark and a practical gift, too.

Oh Terri, Halloween. I'm trying desperately to hold onto August. When you youngsters are in your advanced years you won't want to push ahead so fast!!! Great work, though, as always. I love bookmarks.

I suck at making halloween - themed things myself.... maybe it's because we don't celebrate it in the Netherlands? I LOVE to look what you all make though, and this bookmark is truly wonderful!!!

Wonderful bookmark, Terri. It always amazes me how small or narrow templates can become stunning works of art. Fantastic.

In the big scheme of things ... it is really not too early at all ... with time moving at warp speed and all!

Love your sense of humor ... super tag and foreboding message!
Makes me hear the wicked witch of the east or is it west "I'm meltinggggg..." ;)
