A New Video!

Gessoed Crayon Backgrounds

My dear friend, Roc, and I spent a day together last week and made another video using our new name, "Blue Finger Productions". We really enjoy making these tutorials, and spend a lot of our time giggling like two schoolgirls while we gather supplies, check camera angles and try the techniques.

Since many of you have asked for more videos, I'd love to hear your opinions. What types of videos would you be interested in seeing? What techniques or materials would you like to see us demonstrate? Your comments and suggestions are always greatly appreciated!

May your day be joyful!

Wow!! What a great technique. I really MUST get some of those water soluble crayons. I'm using oil pastels, which obviously won't work with this technique. Love what you did.

My comment on this? Perfect in every way!

BLUE FINGER PRODUCTIONS! Love the name...! Hearing your giggles and the two of you having fun while making your videos put a big grin on my face! {A possible sugar high from a cake I heard mentioned?!!!} It is very helpful and informative how you show the actual products you are using...including mentioning the weight of the paper, etc. GREAT JOB...! So glad to hear that there will be more videos in the future. Happy Day to You! Xo, Sue

I'm keeping a journal just for the Blue Finger Productions. I'm taking all your information and making a sample of each one for future reference. Thank you so very much for these great tutorials. You guys are so natural sounding and acting..just perfect for art videos.

You asked what else we'd like to see. Well, this may seem mundane to you but I'd love to see the technique for the beautiful colorful envelopes you have shown in the past Terri.

Thanks again-
PS: How did you come up with the name "Blue Finger Productions?"

Love your new name and logo, how fun is that Terri and Roc!

I Love the crayons but had never thought to use gesso with them ... gives a nice bit of creamy color!

Thanks once again for being an inspiration and very good teachers too...so natural and fun.

Love the name you chose for your team girls, and I think it's fabulous that you are doing this.
What I would like to see if is more of the both of you, so we know who is talking to us :)
