Bleached Backgrounds - A Tutorial

My dear friend Roc and I are at it again . . . . this time with a video demonstrating a background technique using colored cardstock and household bleach to create batik-like backgrounds.

This video should definitely come with a warning. After we published our last video, several of our friends asked us to show ourselves on camera. Today's the day for the big 'reveal'! I don't think Hollywood has anything to worry about! LOL!!!

"Thanks Giving"
8 1/2" x 11" Print

Just a reminder that there's still time to enter the drawing for my "Thanks Giving" print.

The winner will be announced on Friday, November 19th. That's it - easy as pumpkin pie! If you've been lurking in the shadows, this is a great time to leave a comment. I love making new friends!

Hope you have a day filled with good friends and laughter!

Count me in please for your give away! That would be fun to win. The piece you show is oh so nice.

Great video Terri & Roc! I used to teach a class on bleach years ago - takes me back... I have some other ideas if you want to e-mail me - you could do a sequel!

I was so impressed with the results you got from this technique. I have tried stamping with bleach before, but never got the instantaneous results you two got. It was like magic. I love how you embellished these with color after the bleaching technique. WOWser!
