Heading to Maine!

Journal Page
(Click on the lobster to see the details!)

How fortuitous is it that this month's prompt was: "If you could live anywhere, where would you like to live? And, send someone a postcard." It's very serendipitous because we'll on our way to Maine tomorrow to visit our daughter and her beautiful family. This weekend will be filled with kids, grand-kids, dogs, and even a birthday cake. (One of our grand-daughters will be turning 13!)

I'm actually hoping for a bit of fog, a quick peek at the coastline, a visit to one of my favorite yarn shops and lots of lobster. While I'm away, I'll have limited access to the internet, but will check in occasionally. (I can't stray too far away from the matrix!)

Additionally, I'll be taking a small, self-imposed blogging break, and won't be posting anything new until the first week in May. I've been on overload lately, and this much-needed sojourn will replenish my creative soul and blow away a few internet cobwebs.

See you in a few weeks!
May your days be filled with love and joy!

I can see why you'd like to live in Maine. Family is there, lobsters are there and the beauty of the ocean. Your piece speaks well for your destination but as for me...I'd rather be in Italy. Now that would be a fun artpiece too.

What a gorgeous piece Terri! And I love your plans for Maine (especially the lobster part!) A 13 year old granddaughter - wow! You must have started your family at 10! I really had to look for that little lobster in order to see the piece larger - it was like a little Where's Waldo game!

Sounds like your trip came at a perfect time for you - enjoy your break!
