July Calendar

 Half Way Thru 2011!
(Click on any picture to see the details.)

As I began to work on this month's spread, I couldn't quite believe that I've been faithfully committed to writing, doodling or drawing in this journal every day for the past six months. Way back in January, the prospect of filling my blank journal with a year's activities seemed very daunting and a bit intimidating.

Every morning I sit down with my cup of coffee and fill in one tiny "inchie" with something that happened the day before, and it's now a pleasant routine. It doesn't matter if it's boring, exciting, fun or unexpected. Recording a day's events has now become something that I truly enjoy.

If you'd like to see more calendar journals or would like to join the fun, head over to Kate Crane's blog, The Kathryn Wheel. There's a ton of inspiration that your's for the "clicking"! (Click here to go there.) Participating blogs and their links are listed at the bottom of her post. Be sure to tell Kate that I sent you! ;-)

Wishing you a "cool" July that's filled with summer fun!

Is the reason it's been so easy because once a week a square is auto-filled with the word "dentist"???

I know mine would be!!!

Going for a summer root canal this Friday as a matter of fact.
Don't tell ME I don't know what a good time is!!

Happy 4th my friend!!

This obsession has become a habit (grin). You have such a beautiful journal, it would be seriously wrong to skip a day. I'm always impressed with your art and these little inchies are simply awesome! I think I need journaling lessons.

I love the idea of filling in a block the day after the event. That way you know exactly what happened instead of what was going to happen. Sort of reverse calendering?

Love this calendar!
