A Holiday "Freebie"

A Holiday Bookmark

This month's bookmark swap for my art group was an "artist's choice" theme - the perfect time to break out some Christmas images. I thought you might enjoy this happy little fellow.

A JPEG too!

This bookmark began with a piece of 2"x6" watercolor paper that I covered in a scrap of hand painted deli paper. I added a small piece of a vintage dictionary and doodled the snow with a Sharpie poster paint pen.

May your day be filled with fun and spontaneity!

Thanks for the freebie, Terri, and I love your book mark! But I have to ask: what is "deli paper"? Is it the type of paper the butcher uses to wrap food ? I'm always on the lookout for new (to me) techniques & materials; keeps me from getting stale. Thanks, Nancy

Thank you, Terri, for the adorable free image and telling us how you made your beautiful tag.
I am new to the art world and I, too wondered what "deli paper" was.

I love this and I thought how much I need lessons on how to draw dots on objects. There you were with a perfect example. And the deli paper made the perfect background, too. Thanks also for the freebie. I really love it when you show how you use it.

I love this image! I just finished watching the new video. I am not a stamper, but I have just got to make the tree for tags and putting it on the handmade package is just perfect! You both work great together! Great video! I loved it!
